CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS Team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.
Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of guests, employees, vendors and assets through constant patrol, observation, diffusion of incidents, and documentation. The Officer will assist local public safety agencies as needed to accomplish the safety and security goals of the facility. Security Officers are expected to exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty and perform their duties without the loss of efficiency or composure, even if events are changing or in difficult circumstances. The Security Officer will also assist with customer service requests.
Essential Functions:
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a detailed criminal background check.

Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings
Excellent communication skills including active listening
Basic knowledge of computer skills with the ability to learn new software

Must be able to discuss, converse with, and exchange accurate information with patrons, staff, stakeholders, etc.
Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information
Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional guests and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances
Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
