Overview

CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. CENTERS' management approach is customized for each client yet retains our uniform quality. Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.

Responsibilities

Staff members must provide patrons, prospective members, and guests with accurate information. The Member & Guest Services Assistant is responsible for assisting with reviewing membership applications and training Customer Service and Member Service Representatives on processes.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable about programs and services offered by Campus Recreation Services.
  • Keep a clean and presentable workspace.

Application Review

  • Assist with reviewing applications including: 5 punch passes, lockers, towel cards, and membership applications.
  • Scan appropriate applications in to CSI NG to be on file for future reference.

Parking

  • Review parking pass applications and UDF’s in CSI NG.
  • Fax parking pass applications to Parking & Transportation Services once a week.
  • Work with the Member & Guest Services Coordinator and Parking & Transportation Services to communicate eligibility for Recreation Center parking passes.

CSI NG

  • Properly enter student, guest, prospect, and members information into CSI NG database.
  • Document all access and CSI NG issues.
  • Send out various member emails including: new member welcome, new member completed survey, parking citations, locker renewals, and membership renewals.

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with the Graduate Supervisor of Member & Guest Services.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings hosted by Campus Recreation Services.
  • Order, activate, and audit recreation cards for non-affiliate members.
  • Organize locker clean outs for the Men’s Locker Room and Women’s Locker Room and in CSI NG.
  • File all forms in the appropriate areas at the end of each shift.
  • Check email on a regular basis for communication among MGS staff.
  • Monitor the intranet for announcements and resolution of issues effecting MGS staff.  
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be actively seeking a degree.
  • Ability and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflict.
  • Strong customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer skills.
  • Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruption.
  • Ability to be certified in CPR/AED/FA through the American Red Cross.
