Our firm unites site staff with a centralized administrative team, each contributing to the firm's goals and client needs. The CENTERS team is innovative, entrepreneurial, trail-blazing, and ambitious for both CENTERS and our clients. Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the Aquatic facility
  • Ensure the safety of patrons in the pool and spa areas
  • Manage and coordinate lifeguards and instructors
  • Plan and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of programs with measurable outcomes
  • Respond quickly to all emergency situations in the water or surrounding areas
  • Execute emergency procedures as needed
  • Care for any life threatening or not life threatening conditions within the scope of the individual’s training
  • Enforce facility and aquatic rules and policies
  • Complete all records and reports as required
  • Resolve conflicts
  • Perform Lifeguard responsibilities as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Lifeguard Training certification is required
  • First Aid, AED, and CPR-PR certifications are required
  • Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills; previous supervisory experience is required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to enforce policies and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruptions
  • Previous lifeguard experience preferred
  • Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor certifications preferred

  • Basic computer competency

 Professional Competencies

  • Ability to perform all Lifeguard skills as required by American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program
  • Successful completion of skills tests in swimming, rescue, and other areas as determined by the facility
  • Interaction with patrons, faculty, staff
  • Supervision of staff
