Centers is currently operating campus recreation centers at ten college/universities within the United States.

     

    The Office Manager has full responsibility for the functional operations of the administrative office.  Responsibilities include carrying out the day to day operations of the office, providing support to the member & guest service, marketing and business operations areas as well as assisting full time staff, specifically the Coordinator of Marketing & Special Events, with administrative tasks and projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a complete understanding of all of the services and products offered by Campus Recreation.
    • Perform customer service support/back-up for the Pro Shop and Welcome Desk. 
    • Sell all products and service offerings.  Handle registration for swim lessons, summer camps, personal training and specialty classes.
    • Answer customer concerns regarding registrations, refunds, cancellations and billing.
    • Assist the Coordinator of Marketing & Special Events with daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks including, but not limited to the daily deposit, filing, reporting, billing, collections, payroll deduction, ordering and maintaining supplies, and human resource management.
    • Assist in managing cash handling as it relates to reconciliation of drawers and change bins.
    • Manage department mail system in conjunction with University mail services.
    • Assist student employees with tasks in the ADP and CSI systems.
    • Prepare regular written communication such as invoices and email notifications, as well as reports as needed.
    • Assist other full time staff with special projects as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, ability to operate and maintain standard office equipment such as copier/fax machine, computer, scanner, and printer.
    • Capability to manage multiple and competing priorities by effectively managing fast paced deadlines.
    • Skills to identify problems, assess alternatives, render consistent logical decisions, and write concise reports.  
    • Ability to work independently and thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles.
    • Ability to work as part of a professional team that collaborates effectively with colleagues and provides entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm. 

    Human Relations:

    Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors. Contact involves troubleshooting, informing, exchanging information, negotiating, making recommendations, and giving information or instructions.
