Centers is currently operating campus recreation centers at ten universities within the United States.


    Job Function:

    This position develops materials to increase brand recognition and exposure for a large audience with JSU students, prospective students, alumni and faculty/staff. They work collaboratively with University Recreation professional staff to ensure a cohesive message and brand image in the creation of logos, posters, banners, TV ads, newspaper ads, tickets, brochures, web banners, social media graphics and t-shirts.  


    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Produce graphic design elements for digital (web, social, mobile) and print materials that promote University Recreation programs and services.
    • Facilitate meetings and collaborate with University Recreation professional staff to develop marketing materials that align with the program and brand standards of the department.
    • Transform data and information into visually compelling designs that are easy to understand and aesthetically pleasing.
    • Work with JSU Print Shop to complete printing jobs.
    • Distribute marketing materials throughout University Recreation and other campus venues as specified.
    • Assist in creative concept development for telling a University Recreation story across multiple platforms.
    • Represent the University Recreation brand effectively and positively.
    • Support University Recreation areas by providing helpful and positive information about University Recreation programs and services at various information tabling and events.


    Job Expectations:

    • Currently enrolled as a student of Jacksonville State University.
    • Current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid or ability to complete training within 2-4 weeks after hiring date.
    • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Extensive experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Utilize Asana Project Management to organize and complete projects.
    • Demonstrate proficient writing skills and excellent grammar.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and deadlines.
    • Ability to organize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
    • Maintain professionalism and discretion when dealing with departmental information.
    • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
    • Ability to communicate with diverse sets of individuals for working as part of a team.
    • Arrive promptly for shifts and presenting a professional appearance.
    • Available to work 10 hours/week.
